Course Goals and Achievements

   I took ART180 in hopes of expanding my knowledge of and exploring various styles of photography. This course helped me accomplish exactly that--especially the first assignment. I found learning about lighting, coloring, and perspectives to be very useful not only for class, but also for my own personal photography. I was also able to practice photographing scenes that I was unfamiliar with and move out of my comfort zone. My biggest takeaway is that art is everywhere. A picture of beautiful flowers is just as much art as a picture of a cardboard box. It's not about what it looks like; It's about the meaning or story behind it.
