https://mnbrook.wixsite.com/megan-brook/post/dozen-photo-challenge I love the way this photo turned out. It immediately caught my eye. Both the subject and the background leave a lot up to interpretation. The backlight enhances the orange background, bringing a feeling of warmth. The glass ball appears almost as though it is full of liquid, similar to lava. The close-up bull's-eye perspective makes something so ordinary appear so unique.
Photo Critique: I'm really drawn to the contrast in this image. The deep silhouette of the trees against the rich blue of the sky immediately grabs my attention. The main interest seems to be the clouds stretching horizontally, framed naturally by the tree branches. The composition is strong, using the negative space of the sky to balance the dense, organic outlines of the leaves. This image makes me feel really at peace. If I were to adjust anything, I might play with cropping slightly to bring the focus more to the center of the cloud or enhance the contrast just a bit more to sharpen the silhouette edges. But overall, the image feels serene and visually satisfying.
